Let’s start this list of amazing Pinterest marketing resources off with my free strategy checklist.
I created this strategy checklist in the very beginning of my Pinterest VA journey. In fact, it has morphed a lot over the years but it started out as a way for me to keep track of what I was supposed to be doing for client accounts.
Part of this checklist is also for the client so they can complete specific actions with each of their newly published posts.
This is the only resource out there that is from the client management perspective. Not only do you get my checklist but you also get a calendar and list of trends and content ideas for each month of the year.

I have a YouTube channel where I publish content teaching you how to use Pinterest to market your website. I publish how to’s as well as trainings on using this platform for marketing.
This is a free checklist to get your promoted pins setup. I walk you through how to setup your ads for the first time. I also cover campaign strategy and how to structure your first campaign.
I also include a case study on how I took a clients ads from $5000 in revenue to $14000 in revenue with a couple small tweaks.

This is something I think a lot of people miss out on. I have these pages bookmarked and check them weekly. I even read their nerdy blog on Medium from time to time.
I would check out Pinterest Newsroom for updates on new Pinterest tools and updates with the company.
I would also bookmark and check their insights page from time to time. This is where they publish yearly and monthly trends data.
I completely nerd out on reading about how other companies are using Pinterest to grow their brand. If you want to get advertising inspiration then you should check out their success stories blog.
I love to get my hands on anything directly from Pinterest. While it’s not usually super in depth it usually is a great insight into what you can do to grow your brand using their platform.
This is the only automation tool I would suggest when you are scheduling your pins week to week. Tailwind is also a great resource when it comes to marketing on Pinterest & Instagram.
They work closely with Pinterest to help us to make better marketing decisions using both tools.
Now of course not every resource is going to be free and with good reason. You will learn so much more and be more invested in your business when you invest in yourself.
So let’s dive right in.

Heather Farris went to school for accounting and worked for years in banking and finance. After finding all of that entirely too boring she started her first blog in her basement in August of 2016. She has started 3 blogs in the marketing, motherhood and travel niches and used Pinterest to grow them all. She quickly became the go-to Pinterest strategist in her peer circles and has been implementing strategies, driving traffic and sales through organic and paid tactics for her clients. On this blog and her YouTube channel, as a renowned Pinterest marketing expert, she educates the public about clear and transparent marketing strategies to help them to grow on Pinterest and in other places online.
