Today we’re talking about how to increase Pinterest pin clicks with a strong keyword strategy and how to use them right. You’ve done the keyword research and now you’re looking at the list and wondering to yourself, “How the heck do I turn these into Pinterest pins, and what do I do with them?”
I’m going to walk you through how to go from a list of keywords and turn those into click-worthy pin copy to increase your clicks and engagement.
I have a very specific angle that I’m going to share with you today in how I create pin copy for clients and students. This is part of the method I teach directly in my Pin Profit Academy. (If you want the full list of angles and swipe copy and done-for-you resources, of course, you’ll have to join us in there to get that.)
Let’s talk about the problem. You do the Pinterest keyword research and then you’re stuck with a list of copy and don’t know the next steps. You’re wondering:
This is a common problem that students and clients of mine actually come across when creating their Pinterest strategy.

So now let’s talk about the solution. Let’s talk about what you should be doing instead. ere’s one angle that you can take and use today and quickly: I call it “The Yes Method”.
This method is where we basically want to craft copy using the keywords that we found on Pinterest and make it a “yes” to your viewer. The goal with this is to spark curiosity and get your viewer on Pinterest nodding “yes” to what they see from your pins.
Most everyone else on Pinterest is just simply taking their keywords and slapping them on the a Pinterest pin. And while that may work, we are fighting an uphill battle with the amount of content, the amount of creators, the amount of AI on Pinterest these days.
So, we need to stand out, and this is one way that we can do that. When someone sees your pin, our goal is for them to self-identify, and start nodding their head and saying “yes, that’s me”. Then we have their attention, and now we actually have a chance.

‘ve put together an example of this with a couple of different pins I’ve created for you so you can see this in action and see what I’m talking about.
I went to Pinterest trends tool and I looked at trends that are growing right now. And I found this one that stood out to me: ethereal wedding rings. As of this post, it’s up 2500% for the year, 30% on the month, and 60% on the week, which tells me that this is something that is growing rapidly and people are interested in it.

Here is the pin that I created: “Your go-to ethereal wedding ring guide, romantic, feminine, and beautifully understated.” I showcase a photo of the ring. This could be a blog post that you put on your website, or maybe you even sell the rings themselves.

Your title and text overlay don’t have to be the same. A lot of people will use the same copy because it’s easier to do to get the pin made and done. But you can take that and you can spin it into a slightly different title if you would like to. You’re not stuck to the exact same copy for both places. Just include them here:
You’ll want to weave in other relevant keywords into the pin description as all. Always have your URL the pin is leading to included when you’re scheduling your publishing your pin.
You’re going to choose the most appropriate board for this pin. You’re going to add some tags that are relevant categories for your content.

Taking the same exact keyword and doing it in a slightly different way but using the same angle, we can do “ethereal wedding ring styles.” This again could lead to a collection page, it could be a product on your website, or it could also be a blog post discussing all the options.
I used the same text overlay and used images showcasing multiple different rings. Then I did a title that’s answering a question, “Want an ethereal wedding ring that’s one of a kind? Yes, I do. I don’t want any other bride to have what I have. I want to be a special little unicorn and have what I have.” (As the thoughts of your viewer…)

Like before, optimize your pin with the keyword and publish with the optimal settings like I described before.

That’s how you do it. Use this method with your keywords to increase Pinterest pin clicks. I don’t want this to be something that you have to reinvent. Just take these examples and try to make them your own.
