What are Pinterest tools and how can I use them to my advantage?
Are you completely frustrated with your dismal growth on Pinterest? I feel like a lot of business owners think they can make a Pinterest image and pin it to their account and boom… traffic.
It’s not 2013 anymore and you actually have to put some thought and work into growing your traffic from Pinterest.
I guarantee you if you have put any effort into it at all and you look at your Google Analytics then you will see that Pinterest sends you quite a bit of traffic already. The issue is figuring out how to make it work for you.
There are quite a few Pinterest tools that I have fallen in love with that could help you grow your traffic from Pinterest as well.
Quite a few of these Pinterest tools are free and some of them are paid.
Some of these links are affiliate links & I will earn a small commission if you click a link and make a purchase. Read more here.
Pinterest unlike other platforms out there to advertise your business wants you to succeed. Without you, they wouldn’t exist. Pinterest isn’t a social media platform where business accounts are just a perk to being there.
So they create a yearly planner for you to see the trends that are happening and when they happen. It’s called the Pinterest Trends Report. You can always find that at Pinterest Trends.
Check out their planner now to see how you can capitalize on trends in your niche.
If you are looking for the best Pinterest pinning tool you want Tailwind. Tailwind allows to you do so many things and they even offer analytics.
One of my most favorite features of Tailwind right now is the ability to upload pin images to drafts and schedule them out from there.

This is an all-encompassing tool that will even allow you to schedule to Instagram.

Monica has created various training on Pinterest and they are all worth going through. She explains things in such a way that the common person can understand and she doesn’t beat around the bush.
So here they are in no particular order:
These Pinterest tools are invaluable if you are looking to DIY your Pinterest management.
Yes, I have a Facebook group that is free for anyone to join that would like to come and chat about Pinterest. If you are looking for a place to find Pinterest support and talk strategy then we are here for you.

One of my favorite, low-cost ways to grow your Pinterest followers is to use MiloTree. It’s a WordPress plugin that pops a box up on your site in random order prompting people to signup or follow you.
It’s a very non-intrusive popup. Since Pinterest is starting to encourage engagement then you can ensure the people who choose to follow you are likely going to engage.
The Simple Pin Podcast is a great way to listen to updates on Pinterest and learn about changes quickly. Kate does a great job of getting information out quickly and in an understandable manner.
I’m not sure if you knew this or not but you can actually watch webinar trainings put on by Pinterest. These are a great way to learn about changes and features straight from the source.
The best way to get alerted to these is by email so make sure you have those turned on in your settings and actually read the emails the send you.
Canva is a great way to create Pinterest images quickly for your content. Now I’m not a visual person nor am I a designer but you can create some pretty pins in Canva if you try a little. If you just want templates you should check out these from Kate at KateDanielle.com. She does a fabulous job of teaching you how to use Canva or you can pick up her templates!
I use her templates for this website and they seem to do really well so far.
And of course, if you don’t want to learn how to market on Pinterest you can hire my team to do it for you.
We offer various services included pin image creation, cleanup, analytical deep dive, management, audits and much more.
That’s it! Those are my favorite Pinterest tools to help you grow your business, email list and ultimately sales on this platform.
You can grow organically or with advertising. It really just depends on what your goals are and how you want to achieve them.

Are Pinterest Marketing Courses Worth the Money?

Heather Farris went to school for accounting and worked for years in banking and finance. After finding all of that entirely too boring she started her first blog in her basement in August of 2016. She has started 3 blogs in the marketing, motherhood and travel niches and used Pinterest to grow them all. She quickly became the go-to Pinterest strategist in her peer circles and has been implementing strategies, driving traffic and sales through organic and paid tactics for her clients. On this blog and her YouTube channel, as a renowned Pinterest marketing expert, she educates the public about clear and transparent marketing strategies to help them to grow on Pinterest and in other places online. She created Pin Profit Academy and helps small business owners just like you to master their Pinterest marketing strategy. Heather is now a Pinterest Educator, one of the very few sponsored by Pinterest.
